Granna Time!

Last week Lawson got to spend the entire week in his house with his Granna. Debbie and I had coordinated business trips to NYC so we could enjoy our old city together and flew my mom in to keep Lawson while we were away. We had a great time in New York (dinner at the bar at Babbo, seeing old friends, etc), however Lawson definitely had the most fun. As you can see from the photos, Granna took him all over the city to do all kinds of fun things. They went to his gymnastics class which loves. They went to the playground every day (sometimes twice) and also to Fisherman's Wharf. They explored Japantown and had fancy ice cream wrapped in crepes. They went to the aquarium which is Lawson's favorite. Then M. Cerie Godfrey came through SF and they took Lawson to Coit Tower. He loved it and is still telling us how he went to the "tippy top of coy tower". On Saturday after Deb and I got back we all went sailing and introduced Lawson to the boat (and the bay) for the first time. We left late morning, tied up at Angel Island around noon so he could play on the beach. We had lunch on the back of the boat and mommy and daddy went for a hike. He had a blast but as you can see in the final photos he was exhausted and fell asleep sitting up on the sail home.

Good times. Lawson can't wait for Granna to come back and visit again...
