Three Stitches in France

Well, we had a very eventful last day in Cap Ferret to say the least. First, it was gorgeous weather and Tavis and I took Lawson and Daniel to the beach on the bikes. We had a fantastic time building a sand castle empire and playing in the waves. In the afternoon, Tavis and I took the boys on a bike ride into the town of Cap Ferret where our plan was to explore, play and then have Debbie and Julian meet us for dinner. We had a lovely bike ride and the boys were thoroughly enjoying themselves at the playground. That is until Lawson bonked his head really hard on one of the playground toys. It seemed like just a hard bump on the noggin at first until I realized there was blood. My white shirt was covered and he had a deep gash above his right eye. We got some help from locals to locate a doctor nearby who stitched him up. Lawson was very brave and now he has three stitches by which to remember this trip and Cap Ferret. As you can see in the video within 20 minutes and 3 carousel rides, he was pretty much back to himself. What a day...
