Granna's last day...

Sadly for Lawson, Granna, Mom and Dad, Thursday was Granna's last day as Lawson's nanny. She flew back home yesterday to be with Poppy and make sure he's well taken care of. No doubt Lawson will miss her terribly and we thank her for taking the time off work to come and look after our little man. It was a special, once in a lifetime experience.

It wouldn't be fair to make this post without giving thanks to those that made it possible for Granna to come. First to Poppy (aka Larry) - Dad, thank you for having the courage in the face of illness to let your #1 caretaker leave your side to be with your grandson. Words can't express our gratitude. We're all pulling for you, Dad and are happy that you made it through the treatment so well. Lawson looks forward to seeing you soon and we love you. Next, Andy and Cina (Ethan's uncle and aunt) thanks for stepping in and spending weekdays and nights with Poppy while Granna was away. I know it wasn't easy, but we really appreciate you guys helping out the cause. We're very sorry to hear about the flood waters and wish there was something we could do for you guys. Markham and Ellen, thank you guys for taking care of my dad on weekends and giving Andy & Cina some much needed relief. That was very thoughtful of you guys and we can't wait to see you both soon. Maybe in London in October? Finally, thank you to John Norman and everybody else in Moultrie that helped take care of Poppy while Granna came up to the big city.

Thank you all. We love you!

Thanks so much for all the pics. I so enjoy watching Lawson grow. His is absolutely adorable and the glow in his Granna's eyes!
