Lawson at play

Today was the first time we kept Lawson awake for an extended period during the day (and had him sleep an extended period last night). Deb and I spent over an hour playing with him on the floor in his room having tummy time, taking lots of pictures and engaging him with the black and white animal cards his aunt Erin got for him. What a special time it was for us; the first real interactions as a family. He was very alert and intently studied the toy from Granna and Poppy so much so that when we put it on his other side and shook it, he actually picked up and turned his head to find it. What a smart little guy he is already!! We'll put up some of the precious photos from his first play time shortly. I can already tell it's going to be tough to keep up with him, but we're looking forward to it......
